I love the ratcheting chuck I believe this will work for most jobs. Unless you would use this Chuck in one of these newer high power impact drivers

I thought this would be nice to have for a impact and sds concrete drill.Bits are so bent and chuck wobbles bad. No quality control. Defective.

All my home drills are 3/8” size chuck which fairly covers a large range for home use. My latest project of recessed lights requieres a hole saw size that only came in 1/2” bit size. This was the perfect solution and it worked as expected without any issues,, highly recommend .

Have to be careful to make sure that it’s locked in, but it does the job. Kept me from having to buying a new drill.

Needed larger drill chuck for drill bits over 3/8 inch. This does an excellent job of holding the bit. However, there is a slight wobble. The shaft itself is slightly bent. Returned and replaced. The replacement has the same issue. The chuck itself is true and excellent. The shaft is the problem. Tested on more than one drill/driver. In all fairness, anytime you extend the reach of a rotating tool, wobble is going to be an issue. I am keeping the item as it does allow more flexibility for my 1/4 inch driver as well as accommodating larger bits on my drill -keeping in mind to expect some wobble.

This keyless chuck is built well. They give you 2 different shafts. I recommend picking the one that works best for you and then using LockTite on the threads to secure it when using the drill in reverse.
