I teach teenagers at church and bought this to be able to make journals and other little books and for that it is working great. This is not super heavy duty, I would not use it for any large jobs, this is just perfect for home use or hobby. So far I have used it to punch cardstock, regular paper, and plastic and it has worked great. Cranked out 50 journals in a couple hours for Christmas presents, great for the low of this machine compared to others.

Good product, for its price. Its what I was looking for without breaking the bank.Blades are sharp if you don't cut too many pages at once. I've found 3 -4 pages at a time of standard print A4 is enough.Binding is ok, watch the screw on the arm, it can come loose if you are doing multiple jobs.I would buy this again.

We made family calendars for Christmas. It did the job we bought it for, instead paying someone. I wish it would punch more papers.

Does the job you expect. I'm a a college student and I hate the standard thin sheets of paper which bleeds with my favorite pens. I bought this a few weeks ago and began making journals for myself using cardstock paper. Soon after friends of mine asked me to make them journals for Christmas. The hole punch is consistent, quick and easy to use. I also print out papers and class work and use this machine for organizing and storing my work.

I worked st a print center when I was younger and used an expensive version of these machines. This one works really good, it’s really user friendly and mine gets tossed around a bit and hasn’t broken so I’m quite pleased with is durability. The only thing you have to watch out for is bending the metal points on top, but the one I bent back bent into place again very easily. The handle is removable which makes storage much easier

I was worried by reviews that said you couldn’t avoid half cut holes when using US letter paper but as per photo if you line up the US letter paper with the white line between the inch/mm columns on the table it works PERFECTLY!! :))Do note that it can’t punch more than 6 sheets of paper at a time and 1 sheet at a time for clear covers. It did not handle the Fellowes black plastic binder cover very well & even when punched one at a time I had to hand trim several of the holes that were not fully punched. However this was the back cover (clear was the front) and it still delivered a very polished result that got lots of compliments! :)

Good material quality. Does the punching the best if you put not more than 10 pages at a time (the 12-page claim is not realistic because you feel that there would be too much pressure on the machine). The travel distance for the comb teeth to open the binding spine is not adequate when it comes to 1 inch or more, and gives you a little hard time to put the spine teeth into the holes. This is a good machine for home use, and it does the job. For an office? It takes your employees time more than normal, and you will be losing money in a longer time. I RECOMMEND IT FOR HOME USE ONLY.

Great value for the money. Try and punch only 7 sheets at a time. Less is better not to overload the machine. Works great for North American 8.5 x 11 and standard North American combs. Have used Fellows and Swingline combs with good success. Will also punch transparent covers and 100lb Cover Stock backsheets.

This machine does what it should and it does it well. No jams so far. The bottom line is this machine performs as well as others on the market that are 200$ and above for about 50$ Canadian.The one thing I could quibble with is that for A4 size paper one of the holes at either the top or the bottom of the page is always cut halfway off. This doesn't matter at all for me and it perhaps could be fixed by changing the alignment. I haven't tried to fix it. However, for those contemplating using this machine to bind facta / pleadings or other documents that will be subjected to scrutiny, this otherwise cosmetic defect could become important.Anyway, for 50$ Canadian, I am very pleased with the performance of this machine.

Works exactly as described. Good quality. My only small issue is that the tray that collects the little holes falls out pretty easily, however, if you are planning on just leaving this sitting on a desk, you'll be okay!

I bought this because of price! Don't let the price fool you. This binder works extremely well. If you are binding thousands of books then maybe you need a commercial model. I needed to bind about 50 books and then a few here and there later. I was totally floor at how well it works and thought I should take the time to give them a five star review!
