My daughter uses this as a night light, and it's nice and bright. The light through the sphere creates a circle of light on the ceiling which creates a soft light throughout the room. The image of the pegasus is very clear and easy to tell what it is. There's an astronaut on the base which is a little weird to go with a pegasus, but she keeps it around the back side so she can't see it.

This is a small-sized crystal ball LED lamp, which could last for years with good care. There is a remote on the cord to change the colors to solid or rainbow breathing. Plugs into any standard USB port, and does not come with a USB port base as most people have spares or ports available.Makes a nice gift for Birthdays, Christmas, and special occasions.The clarity of the laser-cut print in the sphere is quite detailed, and all the added stars make this a truly delightful piece to relish for all ages. Crystal ball lights can be used in any room for just enough light to see when it's bedtime but not too bright to stimulate the brain and make it hard to go back to sleep. If used in the bedroom it can help ease the need to turn the lights on when you hear a noise you can look around and go back to rest.There are larger crystal balls out there for a few more dollars which can be better for the elderly to view and enjoy, these work well for children with good eyesight and anyone who would like a night light with a light show. The crystal ball ambiance in the room, relaxing until you drift off.Wipe with a soft cloth to clean off fingerprints and smudges. Wash the crystal ball only, with mild soap, water, and a soft cloth, rinse, and dry with a soft cloth before replacing it on the base. Handle with clean hands to avoid fingerprints and smudges.
