Frisco mount Sportster tank for custom use. Tank uses cam lock gas cap and has threaded ports for either 3/8" petcock or 1/4" petcocks.
Even though these tanks are pressure tested from the factory. We recommend sealing any custom tank with POR15 (Part #105-0169) or Kreem Tank Sealer (Part #105-0002) before painting. It is cheap insurance and we use it on every bike that we build. Also assure there is no stress on the tank our mounting hardware when tank is mounted.

1971 Honda cb500 k1 with zero added tubing for the frame. Just cut the tubing for the seat and flipped it upside down. The rail is still stock which this tank seats perfectly on. The picture is actually what I already had, however it's exactly the same dimensions and capacity minus the next paragraph. Which isn't technically as big of a difference as I thought. It's just not what I was hoping for@ the price+shipping.It's very well made. I didn't understand when purchasing what a "tunnel" was, so I assumed it referred to the depth at the front and rear where it rests on the frame. Which someone asked a question and it was something like 7.5" and 1". Which is what I need, but this tank is half an inch front and rear with zero slope to where it seats on the frame.The 3/8ths port is massive. I have 4 thirsty cylinders and can't fathom what would need that much. It's practically a garden hose. But I digress; the 1/4" ports actually work out great. I can now have one feed two carbs and in the other side of the frame, with their own filter and gas line, the other two carbs.I'm not certain if the plastic plugs provided can be left in place to plug the 3/8ths port I'll not be using... If so it's nice they're provided.I can't seem to find a 2.5 gallon tank anywhere. They are either less than 2 or 3 or more.Overall I couldn't ask for a better built tank for the price. However given the word 'Frisco' I've learned it means it'll have what I believed to be it's 'slope', so I ended up returning it like 2 months after buying it. So the return process is also great ;)
