Love the fact it came with a bag. A little heavy if your a woman and use all the sections included. I like the fact that it screws together metal on metal versus plastic which typically breaks or cross threads.

This saw is great. We got some really high branches out of the way and it cuts really well. With that said, the pole at full length is bloody heavy. It's also hard to get it higher up when the other end behind you is hitting the ground. My #1 complaint is the screw together pieces, once together it became extremely hard to unscrew them. We wore textured gloves, used wd-40, oil, even pliers on both poles trying to shorten it or put in the storage bag. There are a few branches we can't cut simply because we can't separate the pieces! Don't know what that's about, but that would be a deal breaker had I known that beforehand.

I have some branches that are growing over the electric wire from the street to the house. In the winter the branches get heavy with snow and at times rest on the line. I have a pole pruner that works fine, but was not long enough to reach all the branches I need to trim. I was even standing on a ladder to reach some branches which just seemed to dangerous for a 75 year old. So far I've just used the scissor pruner. It is very sharp and trims 1/2 to 3/4" with little effort. Thicker branches take more effort. I've not used the saw blade yet, but it is very sharp and I expect it to cut well. The whole unit assembled to 26" is really difficult to maneuver for one person. A 2nd person is needed. With 2 sections removed it is long enough for my needs today and I could work it myself. The pole sections have strong screw fittings at each end. When connected the fittings don't move at all, and the poles are stiff. There is some flexing due to the long length of the assembled tool but it is remarkably stiff which makes it easy to use effectively. My only knock is that the tool is pretty heavy. If it was lighter with the same stiffness it would be perfect. One reviewer said the scissor pruner head was not included in his package, it was in mine - so what I received was exactly what was pictured and listed in the amazon ad.

I was very impressed with this pruner. I like that I can add sections of pole to adjust the length. I added 4 sections and it was very sturdy. I used the scissors and was pleasantly surprised how easily they cut through the small branches. Very pleased with this purchase!

I recently purchased this product to trim a bunch of Ash tree branches. I'm female and 5' 5". This tree saw was very easy to assemble. I was able to easily trim 4 inch thick branches within minutes. Once I got to the center of the branch the whole branch would break off. Granted Ash trees are light in density and easy to saw through with a sharp blade. The poles are heavy-duty, sturdy and strong. The blades are sharp but I think applying a coat of oil on the metal surface may help with preventing the blades from getting stuck while sawing through the branches. I recommend this product.

Ordered because I need the string trimmer to cut small branches from a tall tree. The pictures clearly shows it comes with one. I returned the first one and requested a replacement be sent. The second one just arrived and 8s also missing the stringer trimmer. Only comes with the saw trimmer, extra saw blade and saw cover. The pictures with the string trimmer need to be removed if it does not come with it. Going to order something else.
