This is a good quality trimmer. The poles are strong and the saw/blades worked very well.My main use for these item was to deal with out of reach branches that unfortunately are too close to the roof of the house, I attached together enough sections of the pole to be able to reach them and I was able to saw them off while standing at ground level. It worked well for me and it was safer then having to go up the ladder.

The Manual Pole Saw is an excellent tool for those needing to trim tall trees like Mesquites without the hazards of climbing. This saw's ability to extend up to 26 feet drew me to this product, offering the reach necessary to tackle high branches safely from the ground. It was easy to assemble and use. It also came with a convenient carry bag.The saw is designed with durability in mind, featuring a blade made of strong alloy steel and poles of lightweight yet sturdy epoxy resin. The versatility of the saw is enhanced by the inclusion of both a saw blade for larger branches and pruning scissors for smaller tasks such as cutting thinner branches. This multi functionality, along with its efficient cutting blades and secure pole attachment, ensures both safety and effectiveness in a variety of maintenance tasks.

The scissor cutter attachment blade came bent... since I waited a couple months to try it I can't just return... however during that time I did use the pole saw blades which worked great... but not trees grow smaller branches and blooms so I need the scissor cutter, but due to bent blade it can't close correctly....and amazon seems to have no answers on who to contact about getting said replacement part.

To save future owners the hassle, let me reveal the secret: amongst all of the included pole segments is one shorter one, and that is the pole segment to which the saw blades and the lopper head can attach to.As for the product itself, it arrives in a nice olive drab colored canvas bag with a sturdy metal zipper and big pull. On opening, all the pole segments are encased in plastic wrap, but I noted that, in spite of that extra protection, the reddish orange paint on the poles has multiple flecks of paint chipped off, and more chipped off during assembly and usage. It is simple enough to assemble and use after finding out that there was, hidden beneath a log pile of pole segments, one unique short one to which the heads screw onto. The pulley and string operated lopper head can be used with a pruning saw blade attached or not. I used this to cut down some rotted large branches and some living medium thickness branches off some lobolly pine trees and American sweetgum trees. Both the pruner and the saw blades work very well, but the tolerances of the machining on some of the poles threading was off to the point where there was a visible crook in the poles length, and that will only get worse with time. As others have mentioned though, it is a solid product otherwise with a lot of versatility and value, decently priced and well made, but could be even better.

I paid $84.79 for this saw. I cut down limbs on three trees with the saw blade and was loping off small branches with the guillotine blade that the string operates. The black fulcrum that the string ran through bent to one side and made the blade unable to be operated. The metal was very easy to bend. I asked for the part, and I was going to replace it. I hope the metal on this saw was weak. The vendor did not have parts, and I was charged $16.00 to return the item despite it being of poor quality and only being used for a few hours. If you need a pole saw, I would look past this one.

Returned saw. It was way too flimsy when extended. It swayed back and forth and was difficult to position.
