So, I ordered this "kit", it came with only a head gasket and no valve cover gasket. I tried to fumble around and contact the seller via email as it states on the item page, but was unable to find a link. I was able to make the valve cover gasket easily out of thin cereal box cardboard and get the mower up and cutting again....The Amazon easy choices are ; send parts back for refund, OR send parts back and wait on new parts........ neither option matched what I did which was to overcome adversity and MOW ANY WAY!!Hopefully they read this and ensure BOTH gaskets are in future KITS for the next person. BTW the head gasket was of good quality and works well.DrB

Good value and quality. Tried buying just the head gasket from a John Deere shop for $25! Fortunately it didn’t fit quite right so returned it, ordered this and received it the next day.

Eh the gasket came bent a bit looking like it was blown because of the resulting crease but I will try it anyways

These work and my mower runs fine. I would have preferred a genuine Briggs and Stratton gasket, but what may be even more important is the packaging. These were packaged between two thick pieces of cardboard to keep them from being damaged in shipping. Many bad reviews for other vendors are because of improper packaging which lets the head gasket get damaged and unusable because it's folded or creased. I would buy from this vendor again.
