I have a zt1 54 cub cadet , I used this throttle cable replaced the oem which was all plastic junk , perfect 👌 size in cable length, this new cable and control does not have a detent to let you know if you have it a full throttle or choke , other than that it works great.

To make it work on my Woods mower dash panel I had to grind a little plastic off of the throttle to force it through. I tried to remove the plastic piece so that I didn't have to grind it to fit but that plastic piece is on there pretty tight. Overall it seems like a good replacement for my Woods zero turn mower with Kohler engine.

Very hard to remove thumb knob on control to install.

Needed a cable for my mower and this looked like it would work. While not a replacement for my mower, the dimensions were very similar and with a bit of massaging, I got it to work. So can't say if it works for its intended application, it is a good replacement cable and I have no problem recommending the cable. These cable replacements a lot cheaper than OEM ones, the one for my mower is north of $50 so I very happy with this cable. As always, your milage may vary.
