290PCS 12Values Concrete Screws 1/4 3/16 Concrete Screws Assortment Kit, Flat & Hex Head Masonry Block Brick Cement Screws and Anchors, Diamond Point, 1-1/4” to 2-1/4”.This is an assortment of concrete screws that come in a nice case for storage. The screws are 2 different diameter sizes (1/4" and 3/16") and 2 different head shapes (hex washer and flat). The hex washer heads hex wrench for tightening but also have a slot for a slotted screw driver. The flat heads are for Philips screw driver only. There are various lengths so it is easy to find one that fits the job.The kit comes with 2 drill bits, one for each diameter of screw. They worked well enough, but are barely adequate for the longer screws if you want to leave a bit of extra depth and you are fastening a thin item. For most jobs where you are using the longer screws to fasten a thicker item such as a 1" piece of wood, they are more than adequate. My concrete is only 4 years old, but these screws seem to hold well. The kit and storage container gave me lots of options to find what worked best and then allowed me to neatly store my unused screws away for future use.

This kit of assorted concrete screws is good for having around the house. It is meant for one-of small projects. It consists of a lot of 1.25" phillips head and hex head concrete screws, and then only about 10pcs each of the longer more useful 1.75" and 2.25" lengths in both 3/16" and the preferred heavier-duty 1/4" diameters. They included the masonry 5/32" and 3/16" drill bits for drilling the pilot holes for both screw diameters. I wish they also included two nut-setter hex bits.I used a few of them to install a TV mount into a brick wall (using the 1/4" thick screws). Seemed to go well enough. The key with concrete screws is not to over tighten them, especially with an impact driver. Better to hand-tighten, especially the last few turns until they are firmly attached. Otherwise you risk the chance of snapping the head off the screw or stripping out the pilot hole, and then the screw doesn't hold properly. The bits they provide are barely adequate. Would have preferred longer ones, so the drilled pilot hole has better depth. These screws are also known in the industry as "tapcons" and are readily available at any home building store.

First, I usually don't comment about he container or box, but in this case I need to mention that the included case is nice and thick, good quality, and has tight fitting latches. So much better than the flimsy plastic ones used by most sellers that break and allow all the parts to go all over my floor and truck. That said, I didn't get this for the box, I got if for the screws in sizes I use most. I normally use the name brand fasteners from the big box stores, but was impressed by the quality of these - it made me wonder if they are all made by the same China factory and just packaged and relabeled here. These were just as good as any I have used; solid bite into the concrete and no rounding or stripping of the heads when used with my impact driver. All positives and no negatives from me.

I used these to mount a hand rail on the side of concrete steps and the worked very well in the new concrete I poured, went in smoothly in pre-drilled holes and held firmly, good quality concrete screw none broke while installing.

These concrete screws do their job. As with any concrete screws adequate preparation is important to ensure that the screw takes correctly. Compared to wood, drilling through concrete is definitely harder. This set doesn't come with any concrete drill bits, but you can pick those up separately and easily as they are readily available. Just make sure to get the correct size. This set comes with a variety of sizes and lengths which should help get you started. I used some of these screws for a repair flange install for a toilet mounted over concrete. I didn't have any issues installing the screws once the pilot hole was drilled to the correct size and length. Would recommend.

This 290PCS Concrete Screws Assortment Kit is fantastic. The variety of sizes and heads, including flat and hex, made my masonry projects a breeze. The diamond point ensures easy installation, and the screws hold firm in concrete, brick, and cement. Highly recommend for any masonry work!

Wide selection of screws in a really nice box. Does not come with multiple drill bits, there is one, but it is not great, so you need to supply the concrete bits to start holes. Not as sturdy as the brand name, but also cheaper. Handy to have, but if I am doing a lot of work I will pony up for the expensive brand name. But these are great to have for occasional jobs.

Concrete screws are screwed directly into concrete blocks and concrete walls. Once a pilot hole is drilled the screws are screwed tightly and securely into the wall. This assortment includes bits for the two different diameters. Lengths are short (3/16 X 1-1/4"), to long (1/4 X 2-1/4"). Included is a heavy plastic storage box separating the different sizes. They seem well made and should perform well holding a large amount of weight and lasting for years.

Summary: Over the past decade, I've bought many boxes of TAPCON at the big orange box store. So will be comparing this assortment from AYZAR to those.Observations: When setting a fastener into concrete, you have one, maybe two to three chances, after which the hole gets to chipped out and oversized. The most important step is to drill the hole. The TAPCON set includes a specific size concrete drill bit, but the AYZAR set does not (does arrive in a nice storage box). AYZAR only offers a couple products, so not a specialty fastener manufacturer.Recommendation: If you've not used this style of concrete fastener before, may want to practice in a concrete block, or something similar. I also try and drill the minimum depth hole as that seems to help with longevity; I think it doesn't provide an exit path for the concrete chips and dust, which means after you drill, you need to clean out the hole well (compressed air can, or straw works well). Conclusion: At 33 for 290 pcs set of two sizes, rating this 3-stars (no drill bit, non-specialty manufacturer).

We've had issues with screws and our walls for a really long time. You can put a screw in one place and try and put another less than an inch away and it won't go as deep. These have so far worked really great. We've yet to break one and that is saying something.Currently costing $39.99 for a 290pc variety set

I recently picked up the 290PCS Concrete Screws Assortment Kit, and it’s turned out to be a fantastic addition to my DIY projects. The variety of sizes, ranging from 1-1/4” to 2-1/4”, means I have just about everything I need for various masonry projects around the house. The screws are made from sturdy carbon steel, and I found them easy to install. The diamond point really helps them penetrate concrete smoothly, making the whole process quicker. One thing I appreciate is the organized storage box that keeps all the screws sorted by size and type, which saves me time when I’m in the middle of a project. The included drill bits are decent, but I would have liked them to be a bit longer for deeper holes.Overall, this kit is a solid choice for anyone looking to do some home improvement or DIY work. It offers great value for the price, especially considering the range of screws you get!
