HC-655 Wired Barcode scanner
This barcode scanner can scan paper and screen 1D/2D codes, CMOS module can identify barcodes faster and more effectively, support pos cash register systems (shops and supermarkets), inventory management (warehouses, libraries, pharmacies, logistics)
2D Code scanning introduction:
Support 1D 2D QR Digital and Printed Barcodes also have screen codes, strong ability to scan codes, easy to scan fuzzy codes, broken codes, color codes, etc.
- 1D: Codabar, Code 11, Code93, MSI, Code 128, UCC/EAN-128, Code 39, EAN-8, EAN-13, UPC-A, ISBN, Industrial 25, Interleaved 25, Standard25, Matrix
- 2D: QR, DataMatrix, PDF417, Aztec, Hanxin, Micro PDF417.
Add prefix code
- Add custom prefix/suffix, delete characters.
- Add keyboard keys/combinations (terminator TAB, CR&LF, etc.)
- Enable or disable the barcode type.
- Change uppercase/lowercase
- Turn off and turn on the buzzer
Support equipment and systems
- It is only suitable for devices with USB interfaces, such as PCs or laptops, etc.

3 Scanning Modes
Three scan code modes: key scan mode, self-induction, continuous scan
- Press the key to trigger the scan code mode: When the trigger is pressed, there will be a green or blue light flashing, and at the same time, it will be accompanied by a beeping sound.
- Auto-sensing: Scan the auto-sensing QR code in the manual. Once a barcode is detected, the scanning light will automatically turn on to read the barcode.
- Continuous scanning mode: When the scanner is powered on, the scanning light is always on. You can scan barcodes without pressing any buttons.
Multi-language settings
Support 25 languages
Support multiple languages, including English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, etc.
The factory default language of the scanner is English. To obtain the correct output, please make the keyboard language of the scanner consistent with that of the computer.
Anti-fall
The ABS plastic shell is ergonomically designed and can withstand a 1.8M drop to the ground.
Introduction of indicator lights
When the code is scanned successfully, it will be accompanied by a green light, and at the same time, a "di" sound will be heard.

This product has great functionality, but does glitch ever once in a while. Very easy to use when scanning things to a spread sheet. Always stays connected to the computer. Great value for the price!

It was purchased to read and import 2D barcodes for a short term project.It worked well and survived the 2 weeks in a factory (Aluminium production facility, dirty and hot) in the hands of the production staff who were known to be heavy handed with electronic devices.I would not have purchased this if it were to be a permanent solution as the device is cheaply made and would probably fail after extended use in that environment.e.g. The trigger return mechanism is weakIn an office environment, like where I tested it, it worked well and would most likely last a long time.I did notice that the ability to read low print quality 2D barcodes (even with the "Strengthen reading ability" setting enabled) was not as good as the barcode scan app on my relatively cheap phone. This was unfortunate as I would believe a dedicated hardware device that is designed to scan barcodes would be better at this job.When the source 2D barcode was printed clearly, then it behaved reliably and scanned it successfully every time.it worked well considering its low cost.

If you don't mind having a cord, then this thing will work for you. Works great on 2D bar codes and QR codes. I scan right into an excel spreadsheet without any problems. The manual is easy to understand, and it has more settings than I will ever need.

I wish I had purchased this years ago, it has made entering numbers a breeze. I was unaware of how easy these were to setup, there is nothing to install, no software or drivers needed. Scanner is plug and play just point the mouse to where you would like the information entered and click the scanner to scan the barcode for the information to appear. Inside the instruction booklet are QR codes to change the scanners settings should you need to change the default configurations such as changing the device from point and click to always on. Very well made and an extreme bargain for how much easier and error proof this has made some of task.
