Wash Hands
Device must be TURNED OFF
Wipe off device with soft dry cloth
Prepare mixture of water and small amount of dishwashing detergent. Wet the finger tips
Peel the IPG from backing
Wet the adhesive side of IPG piece with finger tips
Aling the IPG to the device
Use IPG installation card to squeegee out bubbles and water
Away from the center towards the edges and away from any open ports
Use your palm for the corners. Hold the device in your palm for 1-2 minutes

The package is clearly marked for use on SDS100 Uniden Scanner screen. THIS IS NOT AN EXACT FIT! for the screen on a SDS100. The screen protector is TOO Big and must be cut to size. Plastic is soft and requires a new razor blade, plus a good straight edge. This is so you will not pull on the soft flimsy screen protector (plastic), as you attempt to CUT it straight. Not worth $15.00 dollars, MINUS stars on this product for sure!

This screen protector is too big by about a quarter inch on both length and width. I thought it was a mistake so I ordered a replacement and it was the same size. I wanted something on the screen so I measured it out and using a dry erase marker made some lines and using a blade and ruler cut it to size. Using a lot of soapy water I was able to put it and fit it perfectly to the screen. I do really like the feel of this, it’s not glass but not plastic. It’s more like a vinyl wrap. I do think it will help with scratching but I question the impact resistance. When it’s on you don’t even know it is there. It just stinks that you pay this much for a protector and it’s not even right and you have to do more work to make it work.

Not worth your time or money. Was too big and extremely difficult to cut down. It did come with two but still not worth a penny. Don’t waste your time money or frustration.

Horrible waste of money. Screen protector is oversized and flimsy. Not a hard glass nor plastic like most protectors. You’re better off throwing the money in the trash than wasting it on this.

This product is terrible. Dose not fit the sds100 it's to big. The cut to size sucks. The sds100 screen size is 1.5 in by 2in the protector they send is 1.75in x 2.25in. That's not the worst thing I've installed several screen protectors working for zagg so I know what I'm doing and am comfortable. Wipe using thier cloth wet everything then apply and squeegee the water out. The cloth in the kit has fibers that scratch your 700 dollar screen even if you don't push hard so that made me mad. The screen protector is like a rubber vinyl not of good quality. I recommend going to a place and have the custom make you one this item needs to be taken off any listing and thrown in the trash to be incineratored! Very disappointed it the quality and micro scratches in my $700 radio. If I could put up some fingers to salute I'd be doing it now

Do read instructions on applying film. The film does cover screen scratches very well. The film is larger than than the screen on the Uniden SDS100. In the attached photo one will see that the film covers the LED indicator on top of the screen.

The screen protector seems to have self healing properties like those made for high end smart phones. The screen protector is designed to be oversized to prevent dirt from getting trapped in between the bezel and the screen protector. Installation was easy; put a little soap water on radio screen side, apply ,then carefully work the soapy water out with supplied squeegee.( a couple of drops of soapy water). I have had the protector on the sds100 for a month and I can see no scratches on the protector even tho I constantly place the radio face down when not in use. Don't think. Get it!
