I love the size of this file cabinet, its quality, and appearance. I love the ease of assembly, but this is also its downfall. It is not as sturdy as I would have liked.

This file cabinet has a very nice finish and I really like the "look" of it. The size is exactly as stated. Assembly took a few minutes but wasn't complicated, if you follow the directions. All items were in the box.I was so hoping this file cabinet would be sturdier than most I saw/read about. I have both drawers full of paperwork and a printer sitting on the top of it. EVERY time I open either drawer, the entire cabinet moves, several inches. Side note---I have tile floors. Still, the cabinet is loaded down with paper. It also moves when I close a drawer. The drawers have to be pushed hard to close. Even doing that, the drawer doesn't close completely.I've had a few family situations recently, so I missed the window to return this otherwise I would have.Use caution if you decide to order this.

I had to send it back because it had missing parts. However, I did like it but didn’t reorder. Difficult to put together.

It's was easy to assemble and looks great except when I put in 1 of the small.screws into the prefilled hole.it cracked on the side of the board, it did this as well to the bottom board on one of the drawers. There are 2 locks on for the top that with the slightest little movement will come unlocked and messes up on side of the desk. Wouldn't be upset but for $90 I would expect better.

What appealed me first to purchase this unit was because it was nice looking, reasonably priced and it stated that the cabinet width (depth) was 27.17” which would have given me the option of a fairly large cabinet with lateral file drawers. In reality the cabinet width top/drawers are 15-5/16” W (deep) with a base cabinet width of 14-5/8”. All other dimensions height and length are correct. The construction is of light wood and would not call it a “Robust Design” since they the structure is a hollow (two pieces of thin material as a skin over a frame) as in a floating shelf design. In locations where screws are applied, they have provided pre-drilled holes with a small amount of fastening material between the layers of wood. If a forceful torque is applied to the screw it may result in disintegrating the fastening material.Because of my need I purchase 2 white cabinets; I would suggest to inspect all exterior wood surfaces for any imperfections before assembly because I was too late with mine. It was not visible at first glance but once fully assembled I found a ½” wide painted touched up mark on the top surface.Cabinets come with 2 black 8” metal drawer pull handles, good drawer glides and fastening hardware and plastic hanging file support tracks. Fairly easy to assemble.Be aware that when opening the bottom drawer to the full pull out extend the cabinet may tilt forward. There are no locking devices on the drawers which then this allows both drawers to be opened simultaneously. *For safety use the provide wall fasteners to secure the cabinet to wall.
