The original Pull Handle on the Honda 2000 Series Generators is made of hard rubber. Very durable.The handles that came in this product are useless. The cheap molded plastic will not last a week on a jobsite.Using my original handle, I was able to install a new pull rope in my starter which was a big improvement over the piece of paracord I was using, which is too thick and too flexible for the purpose.Worth the price for the correct type of cord. Otherwise, make sure you don't lose the original handle...

The last pull starter rope had broken. This was a very inexpensive repair and allowed for a spare should anything occur in the future. Very pleased with this purchase and the way it operates.
