These are most excellent and priced very well if you buy the four pack. These are made with a metal internal frame surrounded by a hard rubber. Should take a lot of abuse and be easy on the hands as compared to the plastic ones. I'm using these for garage door pull down handles but bought the four pack to swap out a couple of pull start handles when I get the time to change them. Buy these, you won't be sorry!

If you hate the oversized string and plastic handle the was installed with your garage door opener, get these to replace the cheap plastic handle. My cheap plastic handle caught in my car door preventing my garage door from closing. Thankfully it did not mar my paint as the door didn’t close and returned to the open position. I received 5 of these rubber handles one of which I am currently using for my emergency garage door pull. I wanted something not made of hard plastic which would not mar my cars paint if I wanted to leave the pull string longer. In the end I cut the string short and installed this handle on the end. Haven’t used it yet to open the door but the build quality is solid as it has a metal interior with a rubber exterior. I will use the rest on my yard tools when handles need replacing. Much better than the cheap plastic handles at the big box stores. Be warned, no string comes with these.
