I am currently working on an exciting RC car project with my sons, aiming to teach them about electronics, microcontrollers, and mechanical design. These micro servo motors have proven to be incredibly handy for integrating into the steering mechanism of our RC car. Apart from RC car, their small size and lightweight design make them ideal for use in RC airplanes or helicopters, where weight savings are crucial.I tested these motors using the Arduino servo library, and both performed well with 180 degrees movement. Each servo motor comes with a set of servo horns, allowing you to choose the one that best fits your needs. These servo motors are versatile and can be used in various robotics projects, making it beneficial to have a few spare motors on hand for any new prototypes.So far, I have not encountered any issues with these motors. However, it’s important to note that they have plastic gears, so they may not be suitable for continuous or heavy-duty applications. Overall, these micro servo motors are a fantastic addition to any RC or robotics project.
