I fish many different species and styles so a collection of various rods are required. I have tried multiple different way of storing them efficiently from floor racks to other wall mounted hanging systems. This is the best option I have found so far. By storing the rods vertically you can get many rods on the wall in a pretty limited area by adjusting the height where the rod is in the rack. Many other systems end up messy or difficult to store because the reels interfere with each other. I replaced another wall rack storage system that had padded V shaped grooves that you wedge the rod in. These soft spring loaded clips hold the rods securely and it doesn't matter the width which was the issue I had with my previous system. I haven't had any issues with rods slipping and it has made it great for organization. I plan on getting more to replace some of the other systems I have used. As you can see in the attached picture I have multiple trolling rods on the rack in an organized fashion with no issues of the weight of the reels or size of rods. The only negative aspect of these storage racks are they are 12" and not 16". This ensures that one of the sides will not be in a stud. It would be a great improvement if they added one or two more clips and offered a 16" option so both sides could be in a stud.

So, we've had this fancy looking wooden fish style rack that holds poles on the front and back. It seems like it is meant for sitting out in the open, maybe between two cars in a garage or something. Except it is against the wall. It sucks. You try to put a rod away or take on out and the reels are banging into and getting stuck on one another. And, god forbid you want rod from the back row. you'll be knocking stuff everywhere.I am so happy now. These racks are sooo much easier. Where the wooden rack basically had all the rod butts sitting level, thereby having the reels at the same level, this one allows you to mount pools at different heights in each slot so you can stagger he reels vertically. This eliminate all the hassle of storing and retrieving them. The racks also saved me some valuable garage floor space, as I mounted these pretty high and now reclaimed some space below. These racks are super convenient. Quick to store and retrieve rods without hassle, have them stored more out of the way, where they are safer and got some floor space back for other things.

I have always been a fan of the self closing Cam style holders for tools fishing poles and other long objects. That said in this case the cams are so close together that you have to stagger the poles show the reels on the rods don't interfere with each other and you end up with something that looks like a tree with roots spread out at the bottom. Staggering the reels is not a big problem unless you have long poles and have to have some almost touching the ceiling and some almost touching the floor to keep the reels from interfering. This was the case in my experience. I had some hanging pretty low and some hanging so high they were touching the ceiling. I was really only able to use about half the capacity of 12 fishing poles because of the spaces I had to leave room for reels. Because of that I'm going to say these are good for storing 6 fishing poles and only if you have the room to stagger the handle and reel location so that they don't constantly snag each other. Two inches between the cams would make these bars a lot bigger and make it easier to hang the 12 poles that they advertise.

Nice rod holders the work really well and we're super easy to put up plus I personally just think these ones look pretty cool.

We had a wall that was lost to a sea of fishing rods, all just haphazardly leaning all over each other. This rack let me bring order to the chaos, plus prevent a lot of snags and tangles! The garage looks cleaner, the colors are nice and bright, and we can actually find and quickly grab the rods we want without having to move a bunch of them around, unsnag lines, and risk a domino effect where they all fall over. Definitely an improvement!

Looks great, but was not impressed The build qualities seems kind of but it is very easy to assemble and a very good someone on a budget. This would be something to look at for storing your fishing rods and reels.

My husband has a tendency to leave his rods out and always leaning against a wall and I get tired of having to move them when they get in my way. These are a nice solution with nice grips (perhaps could use a little more padding). Unfortunately a couple of the rods I'm trying to hang are fly fishing and, with poles almost as tall as our 10' ceilings, I tested them first by holding the clamp and, clamping in the middle of the rod where it's thinner, I find the clamp doesn't hold as tightly as I'd like and I'd prefer not to have to mount this near the floor just to get a better grip. There are plenty of other rods that need to be stored so these will work fine on them being they aren't as long. Right now I can't find available wall space to permanently mount them so am going to improvise by adding magnets to the back and mounting them on a freezer until I can find a permanent home for them.

Our rods used to be in the corner in a 5 gallon bucket and it was always a pain to go fishing because somehow the string always got tangled between them. During our latest cleaning effort in our garage, I mounted one of these units to the side of a set of shelves. Oh my heavens what a difference this has made. I don't have to worry about them getting tangled up as much. Each grabber is spring loaded which has enough tension to securely hold the poles in place. Also, it is made of soft foam which helps protect the poles from getting scratched up. I wish I would have purchased this sooner.
