I have two of these on my boat which installed very easily and look clean. Boat cover still goes on normally due to their low profile. Mounted some on my garage wall to store downriggers and pot puller when not in use. Excellent system.

It's a factory mount downrigger plate for your downrigger. Easy to install does not come with hardware. But i left the old one on my boat that I sold and needed new mounting pads.

I got the idea from my buddy El Grande out of Woodland, CA that basically did the same thing on his North River boat. I had a couple extra sets of the Scotty standard deck mounts. I mounted them to these plate with stainless nylon lock nuts/bolts/washers to basically turn my downrigger mounting plates into an extra rod holder for when the downriggers aren't on the boat.
