Description says stainless steel metal,They are actully chrome plated steel and on one of them the plating is too thick and won't thread into the pump.

Cheap junk would not thread into intake manifold or water pump . I threw them in the garbage

installed on 68 camaro 350. it did not want to thread in the water pump or intake so i had to invert the end of the threads.

The add lies about the product the parts are cheap chrome plated carbon steel and the pipe threads are not standard 1/2 pipe threads. They will work but don’t really thread in far enough for my liking.

It worked for me, but only because I wire-wheeled the threads and used a liquid thread sealer. It threaded in but not very far. STOP LYING TO PEOPLE SAYING IT'S STAINLESS STEEL!

Advertised as stainless steel but is ordinary magnetic steel with a chrome-plated finish. Otherwise the parts look correct.
