I ordered this set of two round sprinkler valve box covers in hopes of using them on top of a telephone line in the yard, where the existing cover stands about 2 feet tall. The existing cover does not stay in place well and I thought I could instead put a flat one so I could mow over it. Alas, despite my careful measurements, I can’t get this sprinkler valve cover to fit in a satisfactory way. The unique design of the plastic piece already in the ground just doesn’t match up with this valve box cover. Drat!Regardless, these are very good quality covers. They have a finger hole so you can easily lift them off, they have side clips to help them stay in place, and I like the triple line texture pattern on the top. The color of green is pleasing and blends well with the grass. These are very thick and sturdy plastic and I have no doubt they would last for years.At $8 for the set of two, I highly recommend due to the high quality of plastic used to make these.————————————-Here is how I rate items:5 Stars = Exceeds all expectations in terms of functionality, aesthetic, and value; highly recommend and I would order this item again without hesitation!4 Stars = Great item and value; I recommend.3 Stars = It works and functions but not exactly as advertised or it may not be the best value based on the product quality.2 Stars = Might be acceptable for some purchasers but it didn’t appeal to or work for me and I wouldn’t order again.1 Star = Absolutely would not recommend or order this item again.

These lids are very sturdy and should hold up well in the ground. Unfortunately they did not fit my old valve boxes so I hope I might find another use for them.

Perfect fit. Great quality. I'm glad to know that these are easy to order as I break one a year with my mower. I think I need to just dig the box down more at this point. But these are perfect replacements. Just make sure you have the right size.

These valve covers are exactly as described: sized to fit an interior opening of 5.5”, but my sprinkler box is larger. So, they won’t work for me, but that's my fault. I was hoping these were a standard size, but I should have taken the time to measure before ordering. If you get the right size, these seem sturdy enough to do the job, and with the 2 pack, you will have a backup.

These are very well made. They are thick, durable and fit as expected. So far no issues with people or animals walking on them. Overall, a good solution for older broken covers.

These are super sturdy and will last as long as the sprinkler box lasts. They are also easy to drill into too so that's a hole plus. The hole is on the edge of the lid which works for 9/10 of my boxes but for 2 of them I need it in the center. A quick landscaping rock over the original holes fixes that up! You could probably also just cork it with anything.... Maybe even a cork!You're not gonna go wrong with these if you already have the matching sprinkler boxes, I show them in action in my video but definitely 5 stars.

I had a cracked irrigation valve cover out my back door. I ordered these as a replacement and and happy with the results. These are well made and fit onto the existing box perfectly. They seem more solid than the original. Hopefully they last!

I had an older cover that was cracked and needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, it was a little bugger than this one. Little did I know there was a secondary cover underneath that was a perfect fit with this one. It's a solid piece. Works great.
