I like how it looks. I thought it was perfect until one of them completely stopped working. It turns out the internal metal mechanism needed to rotate the grinding rod was defective and came loose from the wooden top. It’s really unfortunate. I didn’t expect it to break after just one month of normal use.

They’re very nice! Perfect sized for the dinner table, sturdy and they seem well-made. They look very attractive on the table as well. I love the little viewing windows. The grinding mechanism works perfectly for salt, but I find it doesn’t work quite as well for my pepper. I have filled the grinder with long pepper instead of regular round peppercorns, though, so it’s probably not designed for them. Not sure about longevity of the product yet, as I just recieved them, but hopefully they will hold up. Overall great, especially for the price point! 😊
