Bought these for my wife who was having issues with her hip while running. These were brilliant. Completely resolved the pain. My wife won't run without these now. I can't speak more highly of this product. It's always great to find a product that does what it's designed and sold to do.

When these arrived and I tried them on, they felt great right away. I left them on the rest of the day! They're well made, lightweight, and flattering. They fit like a second skin. On brisk walks (I'm not a jogger), I noticed that they "hold me in" without being too tight or constricting, and made my movement feel more efficient. Truly a pleasure to wear, when working out or to run errands. I'll probably order a second identical pair - one to wear, one to wash. I'm 5'7" and 160 lbs, and the Large fits just right. Highly recommended.

I love this brand! I'm an avid cyclist that just had abdominal circumferential surgery. As I recover and try to get back into cycling form, I'm doing a lot of cardio at the Y (step classes, Zumba, elliptical, lap swimming) after (and during when not swimming) each workout, I need strong uniform compression. These are perfect!

As another reviewer noted, the camel toe effect on these shorts is truly astounding. I ordered my usual size of small. and the gusset cut right up my crotch (sorry for the visual), making things quite painful down there, even when standing still. This also meant the shorts had the same effect as an ultra push-up bra, except on an area of the body that shouldn't be visually enhanced unless one is looking to enter a certain profession. The hips, waist and thighs fit fine, so this wasn't a matter of incorrect sizing. Being very active, I use a lot of skin-tight sportswear from various brands, and have never had this problem. I'm slim, with little excess weight, so I doubt my chub is the culprit.The material for the black color is a bit on the sheer side. When I held the shorts up to the light, and held my hand against the inside, I could see it somewhat, so I imagine they would become even more revealing when stretched.

I like the longer length in these shorts to prevent chafing for my races, and they don't ride up when I run, which was my biggest concern. The compression was helpful, especially since I tend to get tight in my hip flexors and IT bands on longer races. My only complaint is that they are a bit see-thru. I tried sizing up (in a store), but the compression was ineffective and the shorts rode up. I'm wondering if I just got a bad one or that's how they are.

I love the 2XU compression fabric so much more than some of the other compression gear I own. It's silky smooth and just feels like a second skin! I'm a bigger girl so I'm used to wearing men's clothing because it's sometimes difficult to find women's cuts in my size. I tried a pair of 2XU men's compression shorts and I liked them but don't love them. I had the opportunity to purchase these ladies' shorts at a discount in order to provide an unbiased review and I decided to take a chance. I'm actually shocked at how much more I like the ladies' shorts than the men's.The length on these is awesome! They don't have the rubbery grippy stuff inside but they don't move at all. I wore them today on a 1-hour run and had no problems at all with them slipping or riding up. The waistband did roll a bit but I think that's more on my body than the shorts themselves. If I had a little less muffin top, that probably wouldn't be a problem. The wide yoga-style waistband is actually super-comfortable and not binding.There's a small pocket in the waistband that's big enough for a key and a driver's license but not even a small phone.I found a 2XU size chart online that put me right in the middle of the XL size range. I wear size 14 or 16 pants most of the time. The shorts are just the perfect amount of compression for me. I do have to fidget a little to get them situated when I put them on, but it's not as bad as some other shorts I have. And like I said, once they're on, they feel like a second skin. For somebody even a little bit bigger than me, I'd size up.The quality of 2XU garments is top-notch. I machine wash all my compression gear and lay flat to dry and my 2XU garments show no wear at all. These will hold up for a long time, I know.I did receive a discount on these shorts in order to test and review them.
