Like the sz and the customer service was great with the exception that the one service rep lied to me concerning the problem that I encountered.I have a 2003 7.3 diesel engine. The temperature gauge was malfunctioning. This unit was far cheaper than I was being quoted to replace the dash gauge. I received the unit, installation was straightforward. But could not find the engine temperature icon. Called support and they returned my call within an hr. The rep. Told me how to locate the engine temperature icon that I was looking for. Went back to my truck , fallowed his instructions but no icon. I called back and this time my call was answered right away. The rep told me that the icon I was looking for was not available for my motor . That problem that I was experiencing was common with my motor so that the unit I had bought didn’t include the engine temperature icon. I called ford an asked if they had a problem with the engine temperature gauge on my year model and was told that there was no known issues. I left several messages with the help line but never received a response. With the exception of the missing icon for engine temperature, the unit works as expected.

It's larger than the II, but works just fine and has more display. Customized it to my S2000, track gas fill-ups and several stats while driving. Warning beeps might annoy some but I like to know when i've hit 95% engine load, don't care, but it's nice to know when I'm hammering it. Cable is long enough to run thru the center console and the other side of the dash.

I never leave reviews, felt this product deserved one. It's solid, very user friendly, accurate and responsive it offers all the standard parameters/info you would expect and then some. Next the x gauge aspect offers even more, depends on your vehicles manufacturers measured parameters. 3 different screens to tweak and setup how you like. The window mount is the best I have ever witnessed w a stong magnet. Long story short it's like a constant customizable scan tool / gauge. 😆. Anyways, only disappointment I have is that my scan tool shows transmission tourqe converter temp and pan temp. And the scan gauge 3 only displays pan temp;however, it's my understanding if I contact the company they may be able to get that option turned on. Fingers crossed!! So no regrets here fellas!! It's a no nonsense set up.

If you are a numbers and data nerd this is a must. I originally got this since my truck gauges are more general than specific in the way they are marked and I want specific numbers. All OBDII sensors can be read with this and very detailed information about fuel usage is at your fingertips. I found setup to be super easy just plug it into the OBDII port and follow the directions.

Leider wird keine brauchbare Bedienungsanleitung beigelegt. Auch sind nur sehr spärliche Informationen im Internet zu finden. So kann der volle Leistungsumfang wahrscheinlich nur zum Bruchteil ausgenutzt werden. Sehr, sehr schade

This is an amazing product for my car it reads most of the sensors in my car. However the the obd doesn’t scan minor issues on car or things that doesn’t lid CEL.

I have been using ScanGauge products since they first came out. I use them to monitor all the functions on my motor and not rely on dash gauges and idiot lights. I had 3 ScanGauge II unit to monitor my Jeep. They worked well but were a bit hard to read.Now this ScanGauge III is out and problems solved. Easy to read, can change colors, and can display 9 values on the screen. AND there are 3 screens!, so 27 values in all. SG supports a lot of trip/mileage functions as well as enginge performance functions. Also don't forget the OBD code reader. I couldn't be happier with the product, and am awaiting the diesel version for my motorhome. Try it, you'll like it.

I use it in my Sprinter motorhome. Easy set up and flexible display. Only issue I had is that I was unable to clear a scan code after it was fixed and the error code was removed in the Sprinter computer. Looks like it has to be unplugged and restarted again for it to clear. Also, it dos not clear codes in the vehicle's computer (although that may be a plus)

First I will say, I've used an ultragauge and scangauge 2s in the past. I liked the ultra gauges for the alarms on data monitoring and multiple data gauge displays. I liked the scangauge 2 for the slim profile, simple looks, and x-gauge inputs.Finally, this rolls both into one. The scangauge 2 could only display up to 4 gauges. This one can do 9. This one can now alarm the user if data is out of a set range. The x-gauges are all now automatic, instead of inputting the values (though manual input is still possible). I have confirmed I get most, if not all previous specific gauge data as I put into the scangauge 2. Firmware version update is seamless connecting to wifi and was updated in minutes. The screen brightness complaints I read aren't that bad. Yes, a photo sensitive auto adjustment would be nice, but come on.... mine adjusts with the swipe of two fingers on the screen.... EASY adjustment without menu navigation.Cons are a bit high price and alarm volume is a bit weak even at full volume.Overall, it's not bad at all and rather nice.
