1. Insert the product into the OBD interface of the car.

2. Turn ignition to Key On Engine Off Position

3. Turn on Bluetooth on the phone.

4. After pressing the Black Button on the product, the device name can be found on the phone. (Important Operation)

5. NOTE: Search for the device name "vLinker MC" or "vLinker MC-Android"and click Pair. (For Android system) Attention!! Do not pair "vLinker MC+" or "vLinker MC-IOS"

6. Enter the pairing code: 1234 . If the pairing is successful, you can open the APP to set up the connection.

# iOS System Operation Steps # - Vgate vLinker MC+(BT3.0+BLE4.0）

1. Plug the product into the OBD2 interface of the car.

2. Turn ignition to Key On Engine Off Position

3. Turn on Bluetooth on the iOS phone.

4. No need to configure Bluetooth device name in the iOS phone. Just enable Bluetooth button on the iOS device and continue to the OBD app Setting.

Purchased this as my Jeep had a flashing odometer and needed a proxy alignment, never messed with anything like this, usually under the hood or car but I didn't want to pay the dealership after purchasing software for diagnostic and programming it worked straight from my phone, I used Bluetooth and needed no cable adapters to communicate with any of my modules or perform the proxy, even changed some settings about the car I didn't like and had no idea I could until I hooked this thing up, it's amazing as it capabilities are endless with all the software it can use and it's updatable so I can keep up with all the new stuff coming out. I am beyond impressed with this purchase.

I ordered the VLink MC OBD2 reader. I reviewed my order and realized it was not compatible with iOS. I was pleasantly surprised that when the order came it was the MC+!!!! I purchased to use for ios with alfaobd app but did not work and kept telling it was not compatible. With android connected just fine with no issues and was able to use alfaobd app with no issues.

I purchased this adapter as I was interested in making coding changes on my 2012 Town and Country using the AlfaOBD app. The previous adapter I had, was only partially compatible with AlfaOBD. It worked with some modules, but not all.With this adapter, I was able to change my DRL lamp location from my high beam to my fog lights. In addition, it lets you do many diagnostic or other functions including programming keys.I also purchased this specific adapter as it is compatible with other makes/models in case I need that functionality in the future. Overall, I would recommend this.

Initially, I was looking for an alternative to a more expensive OBD2 bluetooth readers in the market and, after researching, I found this one. Even though some people report issues using this adapter with AlphaOBD, I was able to successfully use it without any issues at all. It works very well, very good response and no issues whatsoever at least with AlphaOBD. The APP quickly recognized the adapter (Bluetooth), connected to it, read parameters, update other ones, and all of that pretty quick and accurate. Again, NO ISSUES with response times or similar, nor reading CAN-BUS data which some other ones are limited. And the best of all, at least for me, was the price!!! It can even be found cheaper in other sites but, coming from Amazon, what else can anyone ask for?Definitely recommend it as a very good choice for AlphaOBD users!!!.

This unit manages to expose transmission temperature PID so I'm happy.I'm still playing around with a few apps so can't recommend what app is best with this.
