I have owned this scan tool for almost 2 years now and I can honestly say there's nothing out there better for the price. The capabilities of this scan tool are virtually unmatched at this price point. It also covers just about any OBD2 vehicle you could think of. It includes 2 years of free updates and 119 a year after that. It also very regularly gets updates unlike scanners from certain brands. If you're on the fence with buying this I highly recommend it.

I bought this as I was sick of borrowing someone else's tool for stuff like salvage rebuilds. It's got a ton of bi-directional features. This came in very handy after rebuilding a 2018 Ford Edge Sport. I wanted something to confirm the new active air grille was working before putting the front cover back on. It took about an hour to get things registered online and download the updates, etc.There is a bit of a learning curve to know where to go for certain things, but one you've done it makes sense and is much easier. Highly recommend for anyone that wants something that does more than just clear codes but can't spend a fortune.

I’ve worked with many different scan tools but this one very slow. I do like several schematics. Not sure if it’s worth the investment. I expected much quicker

Parfait, une bonne tablette simple à utiliser avec bonne prise en main.Menu est en Français après un changement dans les paramètres, j’ai aimé le prix avec vci sans fil qui est de très bonne qualité avec en plus le menu Autel qui est très bien.J’ai réussi à remettre en route mon système Adblue avec reset apprentissage remplissage parfait.

I am an 80 yoa backyard mechanic that attempts to correct problems with my cars before letting a total stranger touch them. I have a collection of diagnostic tools that has grown over the years that never met all of my needs. Finally the OTOFIX D1 Lite by Autel allows me to throw away that collection to make room in my shop. I "regret" that I didn't buy this scan tool earlier than a year ago.It is very easy to use and update to keep current - Autel has thought of everything. The unit is very powerful with a long list of features. It is a good addition to a DIYer's arsenal. The OTOFIX D1 Lite has made diagnosing problems and doing service to your car much easier - even for an 80 year old DIYer.

This scan tool is very user friendly, and has everything you will need to quickly diagnose a vehicle. Not long ago, this same style scanner would have cost thousands of dollars. This scanner is lightweight, touch screen, Bluetooth, WiFi updated, and even has a carry case.The processing speed of the tablet is good, and I feel is adequate for its size. I am satisfied with the diagnostics tools for battery reset, Brake Bleeding, and other normal service procedures.This tool is perfect for the DIY mechanic, or intermediate level technicians. The next step from here in my opinion is a very expensive thousand dollar scanner.Great product.

OTOFIX is a very capable scan tool that performs so many professional functions that a technician can use to diagnose and repair vehicles with. For the money and for most techs or vehicle owners this is a scan tool that you would be happy with. I could only imagine what their full version scan tool can do since the OTOFIX D1 Lite does such a great job on all the vehicles I have used it on.

Das OTOFIX D1 Lite OBD2 Diagnosegerät überzeugt mit guter Handhabung und deckt alle grundlegenden Diagnoseanforderungen problemlos ab. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Zubehör, wie z. B. für die Batteriediagnose, dass das Gerät noch vielseitiger macht. Dieses Zubehör kostet allerdings über 100 €, was etwas teuer erscheint, die Funktionen und die Qualität rechtfertigen den Preis dennoch nicht.Für das Nötigste ist das Gerät definitiv ausreichend und eine super Ergänzung für die eigene Werkstatt. Klare Empfehlung!

Otofix D1 Lite kann z.Bsp. Stellglieddiagnosen - eine Funktion die preislich vergleichbare Diagnosegeräte nicht unterstützen. Außerdem zeigt der D1 Lite bei sehr vielen Fehlern Freeze Frame Daten an.

The Otofix D1 lite is a working example of Moore's Law (which for those unfamiliar basically states that our computers will get better and faster while costing less and less). I had been out of the scanner market for a few years when I recently was introduced to the world of Android tablet-based scanners. To say that I am impressed would be to put it mildly. For a moderate investment of under $400 the D1 Lite will probably allow the user to repair 90+ percent of problems that occur on vehicles built in the last 20+ years. Considering that the first scan tool I bought used probably 25 years ago cost me $500 really puts the value of the D1 Lite into perspective, especially considering that that $500 was really almost $1,000 in today's dollars. So, in equal dollar terms, the D1 Lite cost me well less than half of the scanner I bought 25 years ago, but it is lighter, faster, covers many times more vehicles, and has many times the capabilities. In today's inflationary world, not many things that we buy seem like a great deal. The Otofix D1 lite is an incredible exception. The what-you-get-for-what-you-pay ratio is so off the charts it is (almost) too good to be true, but I can attest, after putting the D1 Lite through it's paces, that it is indeed true! P.S. The flashlight built into the dongle for locating the DLC is simply genius!

This unit has amazing performance and works on an amazing amount of vehicles but the key coding system is trash. If you are using this as a locksmith don’t. They have other units that are full in worth it but the “basic” program is junk. If they gave an option for upgrading the software and hardware to incorporate other options this would be my go to. But sadly this is a job specifically unit and with no way to add on it’s kinda sad. I’ll still give it four stars for what it is but the rekey and coding systems do not work for anything. Spend the extra money and go for the pro or better units if you’re gonna use this company. If you’re on a budget and hoping to upgrade and expand here it’s not gonna happen sadly.It is truly an amazing unit but make sure you know exactly what you need now and in the future because if you buy just what you need for the job that’s the best you’ll ever have.

Lovely bit of kit and at this price point the quality is impressive. The main tablet feels solid and robust and wireless connection is great if you're trying to check things on the move etc. Used it a couple of times now and it's done everything I needed it to do and the menus are simple and clear.The only thing I don't really know, as it's the LTE version, if there are things it won't do, but so far it's done what I've needed very well. Options seem limitless.I've generally used vcds on VAG products in the past but now I've got options with all cars. An absolute bargain
