I have been on the hunt for a quality tote to carry my ipad, laptop, books, and such for everyday use in my journaling and annotating my reading, as well as something that is large enough to hold my DnD reference manuals for when I'm working on campaign stuff on the go. When I say this bag is absolutely everything I could have asked for in a tote, I mean it. It's got pockets for days, it has quality stitching, there is sufficient padding inside so that I'm not worried about any of my electronics getting damaged, and it's roomy enough without being "too big". It comes with a shoulder strap, as well as handles, which I like because I'm not always into carrying things on my shoulders, but sometimes you have to in order to use your hands.I did test out the binder function, and it was incredibly sturdy and solid. However, for my needs, I altered the bag and removed the binder bracket making it EXACTLY what I've been looking for. I stuffed it full of everything I had lying in my Annotation Zone, that had been cluttering up the floor next to my night stand, and I still have plenty of room left over to actually fit the things I want without having to get up in the middle of a task to go get it from a different room. I compared it to the small bag I was using before, that just barely held my ipad, and the difference was huge-- even though it doesn't feel bulky or big (which I always hate in a bag).Overall, if I could give this bag 10 stars, I would. Great if you want a sturdy binder, but even better if you alter it a bit and use it for a carrying bag.

This is a very nice binder! You have a choice of three different colors; I chose the lavender bag. The pictures make it look a little more pink but the color is a warm, soft lavender that is absolutely gorgeous and perfect! The handles are a soft gray color which goes wonderfully with the lavender. The bag itself is made from a soft polyester fabric that is waterproof to help spills and rain run off the bag. This came in very handy for me as I had left the bag in my car with items in it (including my tablet). My friend left the sunroof on my car open and it rained into the vehicle. Thankfully, the rain that hit this bag didn't manage to get through into my papers or tablet. The inside of the bag has a section for holding pens, pencils, or highlighters and pockets to place any other small office supplies you may need to carry with you (I carry a couple pads of Post It Notes and an extra phone charger in mine. There is also an expandable pocket behind the pen caddy where I keep my tablet and a couple of small notebooks. The way this pocket expands is wonderful because it doesn't put any pressure on any of the items kept in there and gives them plenty of room. My notebooks don't get bent or damaged and my tablet is safe. The main section of the interior has three large D-rings that are capable of holding 3 inches worth of notebooks or papers. There's plenty of room to put papers in page protectors and there still be room around the edges. On the front of the bag are two large zippered pockets big enough to hold your phone (in case, which is a pleasant surprise seeing as how, before this binder, I hadn't been able to find one with pockets that would hold my phone in its case comfortably), extra office supplies, money, cards, or whatever you may need during your day at work or school. My bag was very well made. I found no loose or missed stitching and all the zippers worked smoothly without any catches or issues. The handles are strong, as is the shoulder strap. I love this binder and use it exclusively for work. I was able to put everything I need for work into this one binder instead of using several smaller notebooks and folders. The price may be a little high to someone at first glance, and I totally get that. I think for the value of the binder, it's reasonable because this feels like a binder that is going to last the long haul. I don't see this being something I will need to replace anytime soon the way I have notebooks and folders. I've spent already in 3-ring binders enough to buy this bag twice, so this bag is a great bargain for me. Add the 2-year warranty into that and you're good to go!I highly recommend this beautiful, roomy, and gorgeous binder!

The bookbag can carry so much it’s not even funny. Although, the handles are warped weirdly (not really a con but whatever) and the rings sometimes don’t close properly.

I bought this for my daughter and the product is absolutely beautiful and very sturdy item. After using it for a few months so far and the wear and tear is zero. My daughter loves this and I am going to purchase one for myself.

This binder is the best it has a lot of room to hold everything you need plus some. It's easy to carry the color is beautiful vibrant blue. Good quality will definitely last the school year probably couple of years, zipper is easy to maneuver and it's easy to clean. I think it's worth the money.

I’ve been looking for a way to store and transport my writing supplies that provides more support and organization than the soft oversize bag I am currently using. Although this particular product is listed primarily as a zippered binder, it is much more like a blend of a zippered 3-ring binder, a computer bag, and a soft briefcase with a shoulder strap. It holds a surprising amount of stuff. There are 1 large and 2 small, zippered pockets on the outside. Inside there are sections that will hold 2 iPads or other tablets with cases (I don’t have a small laptop, so wasn’t able to confirm that would fit), three generous mesh pockets, 9 elastic loops to hold various writing implements, and a sturdy 3” D-ring binder mechanism sewn attractively into the inside back of the bag. The interior is surprisingly roomy and will hold multiple spiral notebooks, tablets, or small books. One of my concerns was closing the bag when both halves were full. I discovered that the section with the tablets and pens was designed to fit into the space between the rings and the outer edge, with enough extra room to allow for multiple spiral notebooks. With dual zippers, it is easy to open and close. It lies flat when open, but I wouldn’t recommend using it for loose notebook paper because the case itself is flexible and doesn’t provide a solid enough surface to write on. There is a choice of carrying the bag by handles or with a shoulder strap that can be attached to the handle rings. The latter connects with heavy duty snaps, one on each side of the bag. This design feature ensures that the bag stays vertical against the body rather than tipping outward. This isn’t a fancy bag, but it is designed and constructed with care.
