I purchased for keeping tooth pick, the height should have 1/2 inch more , it is almost touching the cap. And thread is very fine, chances of getting worn out.

these are perfect! I got them for yarn needles. They can fit about 8 of the plastic needles comfortably. I had 10 in a one point but they made sounds like crunching so I took 2 out. Took one point off for the loudness. They squeak heavily.

These are a nice little product. I gave one to my daughter and kept 2. I use them to store my embroidery needles they are big enough that I won’t lose them and was surprised at how many needles they hold. IT’s nicely made the top screws off and on easy and doesn’t bind up. All in all I’m very happy with my purchase.

Got these to store some sewing needles. They look incredibly smart and are very well manufactured. Beware, though, you can give yourself a nasty cut on the inner metal edge of the material, as it was not smoothed after being machined.

These are so very beautiful! I have always loved and preferred wooden vials to hold and protect my hand sewing needles. Funny, I’ve never bought any before, they’ve just always been around, enough of them to use.I’ve recently changed the brand of sewing needles I’m using, bought a bunch of them, and decided to purchase new wooden storage vials for them.I looked at most of the ones available on amazon, and thought these looked okay, at a really decent price.Well they are much BETTER than that. Gorgeous to look at, smooth to hold, lovely staining of the wood and detailing with thin lines of embedded metals.And — most importantly — the lids snug down over rubber o-rings, still easily open, AND stay thoroughly snuggly shut. Totally & safely holding in all those very sharply pointed needles. No matter how much they’ve been tossed into & around inside bags, drawers, bins & on tables.Wonderful, and awfully nice to use and look at.

I purchased these because the plastic one that came with the darning needles that I use for knitting was coming apart. An interesting note, I paid a dollar less for the plastic holder, which came with three needles, than I did for three wooden holders. The wooden needle cases are well made and quite attractive. I use interchangeable knitting needles, so I put the keys for tightening the cables to the needles in one of the cases. Quite handy. Very happy with my purchase, and I consider it an exceptional value for the price.
