I have been looking for a portable boat ladder mainly for security incase someone falls overboard. I saw this one and thought I'd give it a try to see how it works.1. it is well made out of strong material so you don't have to worry about it giving way or breaking when in use.2. it is really nice in how it collapses into a small space and easy to stow away when not needed with out taking up valuable boat space3. since the steps are basically just straps you stand on what I found was once you place your foot in the bottom step it collapses around your foot making it very hard to get both feet on any one step. If you are young and nimble this may not be a problem but if you are older and not all that flexible it makes it extremely hard to useconclusion:I gave it 4 stars since it is really made for young flexible users and not really made for us old partly decerped uses that aren't splashing around in the water unless we fall in. It is well made and at a good price although I would consider the 4 step model for most boats. But for the older crowd that are looking for something to get back into the fishing boat incase you fall over board not sure this will work very well for you.
