I got this so I could use my welder's extension cord to get my generator further from the house this hurricane season. My generator cord is only 15' long, but my welder cord is over 100'. Last year my generator was right outside the bedroom window for over a week and the noise kept us awake. This will make sure that doesn't happen again. The quality is good, looks are excellent, and it didn't heat up when I test ran it under some heavy load. It's a winner.Love it!

TBH, this was going to be a 3-star review. I ordered it by mistake (I already have one of these adapters), but it wasn't worth returning it (one can always have a spare, right?).What I didn't like about this item is that however nicely made it is, at $19.99 (the price I paid) it just isn't worth it. It's over-priced. Especially since you can get (and I have) adapters in this form factor for about $12-13.But lo and behold, as I'm writing this review I see the selling price is now $13.99. That is a much better value for this item.So keep it at under $14 and you have a 4- to 5-star item. Back to $20 and it's a 3-star item.Well-made, does what it is supposed to do. I like it.4 stars.

I picked up this 30A to 50A adapter to use with my in-bed generator, and it’s been exactly what I needed. This adapter is perfect gives you a different options for plugging in to different style generators. It's really easy to use it's super simple to install on a generator and it seems to be very good high quality built have not had any problems with it at all. The plugins are super tight has a nice good fit and functions very well like it's supposed to.
