I used this to wire up a 30A power inlet for my motorhome, instead of using the more common tethered “shore line” power cable. It was easy to install, the power cable plug attached securely, and the power inlet worked great with no problems.

This is NOT an inlet for a generator! Twice I was shipped an outlet. There is a problem with the manufacture as the model number is correct on the box. DO NOT order if you want your hook up your generator to your transfer switch.

Plastic construction with just screws to hold everything together especially the receptacle which will have a heavy gen electric cord attach may not be strong enough.

Box looks great HOWEVER, the knockouts are metric threads not US trade standard.Went back an looked and while you can buy metric SO cord adapters for the metric knockouts I was connecting the box to liquid-tite so these were of no use to me.And as another person stated the connections are not color coded or labeled. for Hot Neutral and ground.

I received this Starelo Generator Power box today and tried to install the wires coming out of the wall on it but all the screws are of the same color. In the instructions enclosed it says to pay attention to the colors when they are all the same. I cannot believe that they take this aspect of the installation so risky for a homeowner. Very irresponsible of them to leave that part obscure.It looks well built and durable but as a paper weight. I have emailed them today and will await a response.
