Nice Cord. Appears to be well built. Pretty heavy and a little stiff but does its job

The cable is good quality and seems rugged. The carry strap that came with it is a joke. It is way too small and meant for at most a 100 foot 12/3 extension cord. It would have been nice if the carry strap actually fit the cord it came with.

We utilize this power cord with a whole house 14.5kw generator. No noticeable drop in wattage over length of cable.

I bought this 75 ft cable because of the distance from the side of the house and the patio in the back. You don't want to put a generator on the side of your house to annoy your neighbors. If they power's out they have enough problems. Also it's better to have the generator behind the house where it's easier to keep an eye on. Others have said they can pick this up easily. I'm 71 years old and that's not gonna happen, but I can drag it plus I have multiple sons who I can guilt into helping me. I'm also working with a big cable spool to make storing and dispersing it easier for us older guys. The only thing that confuses me is that threaded ring on the female end. Not sure what that was designed for, maybe RV use? I'm using a GE receptacle box fastened into brick with big masonry screws. The receptacle part is angled down and the lid closes over it. It will last decades longer than those cheap Chinese boxes that don't even have bronze connectors. Maybe that ring is needed to stay attached to those cheap boxes I don't know. This came too late to use for Hurricane Beryl but I've tested it and it works great. Now I can put that box of extension cords in storage.

The price is so ridiculous for the quality of that 6AWG generator cable! Don’t hesitate to buy, it’s impossible to find one better!

I really needed a looong cord for my generator in the patio to my circuit breaker which is located on a odd side of the house around 70 feet away. This was the only cord in the market that was long enough. I put it to test during the hurricane that knocked out our power for days. This worked like a champ! Very sturdy and reliable. Excellent quality control. Highly recommended.

Prone to hurricanes in Florida, we chose to hook up our generator to the house but wanted it behind the locked fence so it wasn't stolen. This cord was the perfect length and allowed us to have power during the last two hurricanes while keeping the generator safe. The cord is heavy to carry as it is long and we'll insulated. This was one of my best hurricane prep purchases!

Used this 75 foot cord for 50 amp generator so I don't have to move the generator from its storage area when power goes out. It's heavy but I can cary it and roll it out. Tested it and it works as it should. I also have a shorter version of same brand for over a year. The power inlet box on the side of the house is (Connecticut Electric EGSPI50 50A Rainproof Generator Power Inlet Box with Cover, CS6375, SS2-50P) This inlet box faces down which I like but can make it a little more tricky to line up the male and female plug ends. The plug on this cord CS6364 male, fits CS6375 female inlet box which have teeth and slots have to line up, and even a little bump with its own slot that some other reviews missed and ended up destroying the inlet box with brute force, but it fits together quite nicely when both ends are aligned correctly. It also comes with a plastic strap that is way too small to use it to cary it but may be useful to strap the first few loops of one end and roll the rest of it out on the ground, although I haven't tried this yet and brainstorming some kind of real to make it easier to manage laying it out flat with no loops.

Bought this to run our emergency generator from a open sided shelter with a roof. The only negative is that it is very heavy. The strap that comes with it should be bigger since you'll never recoil it as tightly as it was when it was delivered. These big cables are harder to uncoil in cold weather so I'm glad we bought a longer one than we needed since in winter it won't likely stretch out fully due to the coils being cold.We had the opportunity to use it during a blackout shortly after it arrived and it worked as it should.
