These 18 Gauge Hurricane straps are galvanized and very sturdy. The product title is confusing as to the number of straps in the order which is 30. The straps have the proper number of mounting holes and the Simpson 8D x 1 1/2" Smooth Shank Nails that are recommended for these particular size straps do go through the nail holes. These straps are a solid product that you can order with confidence.

If you are not using these, you probably should be. These help keep things connected in high wind conditions. These are just like the ones I have purchased as big box stores but less expensive.
