Great product and much easier to work with than 304 SS for intended use as I cut to 7.5" lengths in my metal lathe, true up cuts on ends and bevel one end to remove burrs and cut other end with a 20 degree included bevel, then drill and ream for installation of an 1/8" dowel pin to make a dedicated punch for a special application.

Was worried buying such a long piece of shafting online. Shafting was package inside a hard paper tune and arrived perfectly straight, correct size and finish. Great job seller!

This arrived promptly, with excellent packaging. Seems fine. I have problems bending it exactly where I need it bent, but that was the fault of my old vise & my lack of know-how. I would definitely buy from this seller again if I needed another rod.

I bought this to cut into an engagement ring. It cuts easy, looks nice, and polishes out nice. I'm pretty happy with this product and as far as a round steel rod goes, it seems to be good quality. I would use this product in the future if I need to make any more rings, although one rod is sufficient for me.
