When I opened my package there were 2 small pieces of the rod cut off with notes saying that both ends were egg shaped and the rod was bent. Then went on to write about poor quality control.I am using the rod as bucking bars for a 2-stroke clutch, cutting them a little over an inch each sothe damage for what I need is minimal. If I needed the whole rod, I'd be very mad.

Ends are not cut smooth like in picture, they appear to be cut in a press. They are slightly pinched out of round, nicked and one end has a slight bulge

Rods always show up and tolerances are pretty tight

had to cut the egged ends off to get the 8mm bearing to slide on, then found that the rod was also bent ! not very good for linier motion !!!!

They use shears to cut it so make sure to grind the ends otherwise nicely packaged and.6mm just like it advertised.
