As another reviewer noted, the ends are rough and will not accept a 5mm bearing easily. I've also noticed some slight burring at various places - a bearing will not slide smoothly across the road.

These rods look like they were cut with a shear, rather than grounddown. the ends are deformed, so a 5MM ID roller bearing won't fit over the end of the rod. If you grind the end down a bearing will fit. All four rods in package were the same.
