I got this to replace the cracked fuel tank on my Ryobi Ry253SS string trimmer. This tank is well constructed from heavy duty plastic. The tank was a breeze to install and fit perfectly. Comes with the hoses and fuel filter pre-installed which is what made the installation so easy. This reasonably priced tank allows me to continue using my current string trimmer thus saving me the cost of buying a new trimmer. Very happy with this item and I can recommend it highly.

The mounting holes are almost in the right place for an old Toro string trimmer.If you still have the OEM tank, you'll need to transfer the brass ferrules over to this tank. If you have a vice or c-clamp they are easy to press out of the old tank into a socket and back in to the new tank, but... You'll need to drill the holes larger to fit them in. The needed hole size is standard English. I used a step bit. Easy peasy. With the holes opened up and the ferrules pressed in, the tank fit on without further modifications.JUST installed it, so no idea if it'll be durable or hold up to fuel yet. If there's a problem, I'll report back.
