1.45 is the best height if you're buying these for a M4 style with triangle front a2 sight. Good product simple and sturdy. Made well.

This is a little heavier than more rifle ring mounts but it is a quick release! Once tightened down they don't move at all. I like these so i can switch out scopes at the range if needed. Worked very well for my use.

Bought to mount my thermal on my AR with a little more clearance for charging handle. I was skeptic due lo low price but works great with 223 caliber and well made. Quick release is easy peasey!!
