I love that this world map is exactly that: a map of the world! My son was able to find our beloved Cape Verde easily (the other map we purchased did not have Cape Verde and various other islands on it). So happy with this purchase! It’s big, colorful, and great quality. You won’t be disappointed.

We watch news and documentaries. We often have questions about where things are in the world. This world map helps us to better understand what's going on.Did you think New Zealand was off the coast of Austrailia? No, that's Tasmania.See?And how close is Australia to China?

Good size map that is adequately laminated. After you receive the map, unroll it and roll it up in reverse fashion, then leave it for a week or two with rubber bands around it - this will flatten it out for you. I then glued mine onto a flat plastic sheet (called "corflute plastic" in Australia) - be careful not to leave air pockets, like I did. I then used double-sided tape to fix it to the wall before using pins to mark where I'd been. Overall, it looks nice and does the job. See photo and good luck!

Loved the fact it’s laminated and came rolled rather than folded. Looks so nice on the wall, and is easy to read…sharp print. Highly recommend!

My roommate is my 96-year-old Mom. I am her primary care giver. Among her favorite television programs are nature episodes from around the world. She has macular degeneration and is visually impaired. As we watch the programs she always wants to know where in the world the episode was shot. We discussed maps, and I found this one, which is a good size and is laminated to give it a long life. What I especially liked about it were the different colors used to contrast different countries around the world, which makes it easy for Mom to see the shapes and locations of the nations. A friend helped me locate the map at just the right height for Mom, level it, and tack it to the wall next to her television-viewing position. Coupled with a handy LED lighted magnifying glass, Mom can easily spot the country portrayed on the big screen.
