Well made, light-weight stem. Raises your handlebars a bit, and with the short reach, brings them closer to you - good for folks like me who have chronic lower back disc pain!

I've bought 3 of these invaluable stems for comfort control. I just don't get the setup that all the bike shops give you for mountain bikes, with all the weight forward/head down and seats like a brick. Arms, back and butt get tired in about 5 minutes, like a torture device. This stem really helps to distribute your weight over the center of the bike. Unless you're going full blown downhill all the time, then you can adjust the stem below the spacers for lower center of gravity and better control in turns.
