It's solid, stable, and right smack in the middle of the cockpit. If you're OCD like me, or if your handlebars are a weird shape (I have 1up, and they are) this is perfect. What a good idea and well executed. Takes about one minute to install.

With slacker MTB head tube angles the Garmin keeps getting closer and closer. Getting it out in front with 35mm MTB bars (typical bars are 31.8) can only be accomplished with this nice little piece of kit from K-Edge. Easy to install, easy to adjust Garmin angle and clear any stem cap, this is a great accessory.

This was easy to install, just had to play with my adapter rings a bit to find the right fit on top my stem. There isn't a lot of adjustments up and down, depending on your stem. Much more secure than the strap on mount used on the stem or handlebar. I got the gunmetal and I like the way it looks with my carbon Yeti bike. I would definitely recommend it.

This stem mount is perfect for my setup. It fits the insert for my Omata One perfectly - no worries about that. It keeps the area in front of my handlebars clear, so my bar bag can fit there. Now I can reach into my bar bag without my Omata One comluter blocking the zipper opening. Installation was easy - I just unscrewed the bolt holding the stem cap, loosened the stem from the steerer, popped the spacer(s) off, slipped the K-Edge mount on and reversed the removal procedure. Be sure to torque the screws back to spec with a proper torque wrench.Well done K-Edge!

Perfect mount for my 510, read previous reviews about bolt coming loose, i can see this happening as alloy isn't great for holding bolts in without a bit of medium strength thread lock, i have used lock tight blue which seams to be absolutely fine, nothing is coming loose and the design of this mount puts the garmin nicely above the stem out of the way.I was using the top cap model before which is a real pain to line up as you have to mount it first before fitting the garmin mount part, trying to get it straight was a nightmare and will drive your OCD to the brink of madness, on top of that the amount of times i hit the garmin spinning it off was ridiculous

Tried my other Garmin mounts for an Edge 1000 on my new Yeti but the new 35mm handlebars would not accommodate the 31mm mount for the Garmin branded mounts. Switched to this which worked out great as the Yeti comes with a 5mm extension ring on top of the stem so the K-Edge mount just swaps for it. Went for an 8 mile test ride and all was stable. Seems well thought out and high quality materials.

Very happy with my new K-EDGE Stem mount for Garmin Edge 1000. I have a nearly but not quite flat stem and bought the adjustable version to be safe and I get a minimal 1-2 degrees of angle still allowing the 1000 to clear the stem cap. Probably could have gotten by with the flat version. Moves the unit about a half inch forward of it's position using the standard rubber band mount mid stem. I do not disturb the unit mounting and dismounting my bike anymore. Also eases my mind over concern for the rubber bands stressed in the sun over time. Took about 30 seconds and an Allen wrench to install under the stem cap. I can see why the 1000 is not listed in the official product lit as supported but it works fine with a flat or nearly flat stem. With the size of the 1000 the adjustability of the mount is almost irrelevant.
