On the bent set, poor quality finish, some had burs on the edges and a piss poor holder that didn’t accommodate the gauges.

That's what I'm using it for.

This 32-piece Beaufirew feeler gauge set arrived in a plastic case. Both sets of gauges are in their own cases. This feeler gauge set is a nice toolkit for anyone who needs precise measurements. With 32 straight and 16 offset gauges, all dual-marked in metric and imperial, it's like having a mini measuring arsenal at your fingertips. The manganese steel construction means these gauges are tough, rust-resistant, and built to last. Note that on arrival they're covered with a protective oil. Whether you're fine-tuning your guitar or checking engine clearances, these gauges get the job done with accuracy and ease - no guesswork, just good old-fashioned precision. For anyone who like to wrench in their garage, this set makes a nice addition to the toolbox. All in all, I'm pleased with these feelers. Should my experience with them don't mind the gap in the future, the review will be updated.

These are good for if you just need to get an idea, not keep a space ship crew alive, haha. Throw the storage bags away. They are not that great. Both sets come loaded with machine oil. On mine, the offset 005 and 006 came with quite a big bur from the stamping across the entire leading edge I will need to clean up. For the price, they are good to just have around.

Great little gauges for measuring the offsets of your guitar strings. Lookup how to use them on youtube and they will help you do a setup on your guitar without paying lots of money for it. Great for every serious guitarist.

I randomly checked several of the gauges with my precision dial caliper. Some were dead on, and of those that weren't the highest discrepancy I saw was 0.0005" (5 ten thousandths). For the price, I'd say that's very good. Each gauge is labeled in inches and millimeters. The angled gauges come in very handy for some applications. As others have said, both sets were coated in oil to prevent rust.

These feeler gauges are decent quality for the low price. You get 1 set of straight, and 1 set of offset (angled). The quality of the metal seems on par with the price point. They are also lightly oiled, which will help prevent some rust. The plastic cases for each is worthless IMO. I threw them away. I will toss them in a plastic baggie into my toolbox and hope for the best LoL.Overall, I can give a 4-star Recommended if price is less than 10.
