This amplifier board does a solid job powering my computer speakers, providing a noticeable volume boost with minimal distortion. Setting it up took a little time, especially using the 3.5mm input jack, but once running, it delivers clear, impressive sound. However, at higher volumes, the power protection circuit tends to kick in, so you can't push it too hard.A couple of minor drawbacks: the constantly blinking blue light is a bit annoying, as it makes you feel like it's trying to pair with something all the time. The cooling fan, while generally quiet, can be overly aggressive, even when no signal is running through the amp. It’s not terrible, but something to note if you're in a very quiet environment. Finally, it does have some issues with the power switch sending a small surge to the speakers when turning it on or off.It's a great little amplifier for the price, and I was able to power it using a spare laptop charger, which was a nice bonus.
