I liked the fact that it was an exact replacement for the two I needed to replace. The 4" x 4" would have been too large. The 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" fit perfectly.

The inside dimensions are correct 3.5" by 3.5" and fits great. However the description, "total height is 4.875 inches" is inaccurate. I measured it and the height is closer to 7 inches. Had I know that I would not have purchased this cap.Other than that it is ok.
