I bought these to use with my WorkSharp Ken Onion sharpener. Most specifically the blade grinder attachment. The OEM belts are 1” x 18”. I’m going to try these 1/2” x 18” belts out and see how it goes. The WS belts are wicked expensive and don’t last. A 5 belt kit, which is hard to find, is like $25. Then the grit isn’t right, imo. They go from super abrasive to not abrasive at all in 1 belt. But we can’t know because they dont spec out the grits for their belts. They don’t say “this belt is 80 grit” “then use the 120 grit belt” Love the machine, no doubt. The consumables, terrible. So I’m running this experiment and will report back once the data is all in.Stay tuned…Ok I’m back. They work great. It was a tad intimidating because at 1/2” wide they’re almost more narrow than the tensioner wheel. Just have to adjust the tracking and all is well. I went through every grit of belt on all of my kitchen knives. It took FOREVER. I will certainly narrow the breadth of belts to touch things up with. All and all these are an excellent value. They’re very durable, high quality belts at an unbeatable price. This one bundle will probably outlast my sharpener.

Short lifespan on belts decent range but they either wear out or tear quickly but so do the Milwaukee ones

Who knew there were so many grit sizes. Very handy for the various projects that I do with my Ryobi sander.

Strings keep flying off the edge, making it a mess. Not sure why they come apart so easily. But it's getting frustrating. Been using these a while, so I can say it's not just one, it seems to not handle metal very well. And that's what I bought it for. Deburring and small shaping.
