Had to replace a worn out belt and installed the new and used it for my first project which was to fit a rifle stock with a new recoil pad and the excess was taken off in very short order.

Good value belts. I use these for steel, hardwoods and synthetics. I keep them clean in between materials with an abrasive cleaning stick and they seem to last a couple of projects per belt so no complaints there at this price point. Would definitely buy again
