These lock washers offer the greatest locking efficiency since the teeth are on the largest radius and provide greater torsional resistance. These came in exactly as described, external tooth lock washers. They look just like the picture. I imagine the reviewer that spoke of darker either was shipped the wrong thing or it was a fluke. My advice is to buy with confidence!
