I am building a wooden swingset for my grandchildren from 4x4's with a 4x6 beam across, and needed a long drill bit to go thru the 4x6 for mounting the swing swivels. This Hlofzi 3/8" x 12" is just the bit to do the job. Made from M2 tool steel, and ground sharp, it is a perfect choice for the job, and it has a 3 sided end for gripping in my drill chuck so I can really apply the torque. Economical too, a 5 star value!

It was just what I needed for running cabling through a new deck extension, long enough to save me from opening up additional holes in the ceiling. Great drill and I will be adding a few of the other sizes to my collection as they have proved to be such good quality!!!

These are 7/64 drill bits, 12 inches long, sold in a two-pack for $9.50. They work as expected in wood, plastic, and thin sheet metal. Nothing about them really stands out, but they do what they’re supposed to do. The price is fine for what you get.

I needed a drill this long to get through a 4x4 and a couple 3/4" sheets of plywood so that I could use bolts to mount a large vise on a work table. A typical drill bit wouldn't work for that because those tend to be just a little too short. I found that the bit created a clean hole and worked just fine. I've had other drill bits from this brand, and they've been good as well. It came in a plastic tube for storage, and that's also handy, especially since it's labeled with the bit size. I won't use this length that often, and so I expect this to last for a long time. I'm pleased with it.

This 3/8 inch bit by HLOFZI cut fast and cleanly in the end grain of a pine 4x4. I really like that the shaft has 3 flat spots where you mount it in the drill chuck. It keeps it from slipping in the drill. The bit is clearly labeled on the shaft and it came in a sturdy container good for storage. I'm really glad to have it.

I ordered these 1/4 x 12 Inch Extra Long Drill Bits from HLOFIZI to be able to drill holes is wood, aluminum, and carbon steel in places that are difficult to reach with a cordless drill. Twelve inches is usually long enough to be able to clear the obstacle enough to get the drill motor aligned.These drills come well sharpened and have cut through all of the materials with no issues. Because they are sharp, they leave only a small burr on the back side. The drills are straight, which is essential for assuring a precise hole diameter. They come packaged in a nice plastic, reusable container that has a twist-on cap instead of the normal push-on cap. It is much easier to take the cap off with this style and is large enough for me to store my other long drill bits as well.
