Description is obviously in error as 3/8-24 is not”Coarse” but is Fine. 3/8-16 bolts. Actual nuts received were Fine but box had same erroneous label as listing. Are they trulyGrade 8? Who knows

This review is for 7/16"-14 Yellow Zinc Finish Grade 8 Nylon Insert Lock Nut, 7/16"-14 Zinc Plated Coarse Lock Nuts, 25 PackThis is 25 pieces of 7/16"-14 zinc coated claimed grade 8 nuts. There are some minor defects in the surface finish of the nuts that will not affect the performance. The coating appears uniform and the threads appear accurately cut. There are no SAE J995 Grade Identification marks or any other recognized marks on the face of the nuts, so the grade rating is not assured. Deducting two stars for no marking.If these are actually grade 8, this is a great price for that type of fasteners.However, even if they are just common grade 2, this is a fairly good price for zinc plated self locking nuts.

I really like using nylon locking nuts on my bikes, trailers, pretty much anything that has tires. Nothing worse than having something go loose on the go. These are a common size, very useful and buying in quantity is a great value. The yellowish finish looks great too.

The nylon lock nuts work well however the packaging was bad. The internal package was broken and the nuts dumped out of it and the external package was not tight enough to contain them all so I received about a half pack worth of nuts. If I received them all they would be a fair value however with only receiving a half package they are not a good deal.

Well made threads and high-quality finish. These are grade 8 for strength. Self-locking nuts are not recommended for reuse, but provide good security to your fastener system.Made in China

Came in a plastic pouch. Color and design is true to the advertisement. Did give them a bit of a stress test and they did not strip. They feel like they are good solid nuts.
