This thing is very helpful, and for the price, it's hard to beat. But, it is pretty fragile metal. I dropped it one day from a height of roughly 3 feet, and it hit the concrete floor and pressed in one one corner. I just hit it with a small hammer to get the raised parts down. But it still functions fine.

Handy. Easy to use. Almost a go to for me now: center finder, small square check, …

Can someone explain how the angle locating holes and pin are supposed to work? No instructions and it's not intuitive.

Nice quality. Very accurate just wish I bought a larger one. Still happy with the purchase.

What is there to say? This is a PERFECT 3D Multi-Angle Carpenter's Square, allowing you flush and plumb all at once. It comes in two pieces, and they are simply attached by solid little hex bolts. Highly functional and perfectly accurate. Just the right size to determine correct angling without being too big or cumbersome. The distance and angle marking are well etched and EXACT. Very well done.

I bought the blue unit and overall I'm happy with it - after having to complete the job of producing this product by drilling out the 44 alleged pencil "holes" myself. Seems the mold they used to cast this did a nice job of leaving indents where the holes should be drilled through, but the step of actually drilling them out completely was missed. The little indents were good for helping line up my drill to finish the holes the factory barely started and when I checked the measurements using a #2 pencil they turned out to line up very well with the stated measurements. If it matters, I drilled first with a 1.5mm bit so I could be reasonably certain I was drilling in the center and then with a 2mm to make sure I could easily use a #2 pencil for scribing lines.Other than that the unit was fine. The two major pieces fit together tightly with no play and the marks were spot on when cross-checked with my several other squares, rulers and measuring tapes. The angle stop pin also fit well but is a bit awkward to use since it does not remain attached when in use. By that I mean that when the pin is placed at a specific angle and you move the unit you can easily cause it to fall out of its hole. Would have been nice if the peg had a spring-loaded ball in the narrow end to keep the pin in place rather than a hole in the broad end whose sole purpose is to use with the provided length of "fishing line" the factory provided to give you a way to tie the loose pin to the unit in order not to lose the pin. But the only hole available to tie one end to is at the end of the angled shoulder piece where it might interfere with sliding along the edge of the stock you're marking. So for the price it's not bad but far from great. Its saving grace is that it appears accurate in the limited testing I've done and it will simplify some of my layout work. Now if the factory could just figure out that QC doesn't mean "Quickly Completed" but instead "Quality Controlled."

Built well. It’s square. Good value. Only thing the side leg gets in way sometimes. Will get one without leg to go along with this one.
