This pole is completely different to the one pictured, it only had 1 ft retracted, and 3 ft fully extended and unless you're 7 ft tall it will never reach 10ft. it is sturdy and feels solid but is just too short for painting.

This pole telescopes from 18" to 36", not 10 feet as the description says. It is sturdy and usable but not very long.

I got this pole to use with my car wash brush. I snapped the handle that came with it. There's no worry of that with this pole. It feels super sturdy. I like the quick adjustments you can make with the flip tab clamps, and the fact that once you set the length, it stays where you put it. The price is right for this quality pole.

There are a thousand and one uses for a telescoping extension pole, up to and including a snow brush for your car. Funny enough, that is exactly why I got it. I have a large pick-up truck and was looking for a way to limit how much space the snow brush and pole took up in the back seat of my truck. This extension pole was the right fit. Fully collapsed the pole is just over seventeen inches in length and extends up to thirty six inches, taking up no space at all. The aluminum threaded end provides a sturdy point of attachment that securely fit in the snow brush. The foam grips are comfortable in the hand, especially in the cold, snowy weather. The plastic flip tabs are easy to use making extending and collapsing the pole in cold weather, with bulky gloves on, a cinch. Finally, the aluminum alloy pole is lightweight, study and easily glides in and out, even in freezing temperatures. This is a great pole at an affordable price, that can be used for just about anything. It is definitely worth picking up.

What can I say, it’s 3 feet long fully extended. ITS NOT 10 FEET. It’s a decent 3 foot pole but I don’t need a 3 foot pole. I have several 3 foot poles. USELESS AS IS.
