This device works. Takes a minute to set up.It has a USB connector if you need it to charge your device. It’s small enough to not get in the way, but not the smallest CarPlay connector. There seems to be a bit of a delay to reconnect your phone when you restart your car with it plugged in. Not game breaking. Just something I noticed.

I have a 2019 Subaru Forester and this connected instantly by just plugging it into the USB port of the car with a Google pixel 8 phone. On the phone you will need to follow the prompts to allow connectivity. It has a cute little solar planet light up graphic on it. You could turn this off if you don't like it with the side button. One thing that I really like is you don't lose a USB port in your vehicle because it has a female connection coming off of the main line as shown in the picture. One thing to note is if you are running a VPN you must shut it off or else you will have trouble connecting in an error will occur. The wire and connector seem of good quality along with the adapter that goes from micro USB c to USB. I haven't experienced any issue with sound quality disconnection when using it. Overall, I'm pleased with this product as of now.

This is my third adapter. The first one quit working after a few months and skipped audio badly. The second one still works but skips audio enough to be irritating. This is the first one I have had with 5.8ghz and has a newer processor. It was no more of a pain to connect than any other. The directions are more of a guideline and you may have to try a few times to get it to work. Third attempt worked for me. No skipping audio so far and I even turned Pandora streaming back to high quality. Maybe this is the one?

This thing just works, the set up is a bit challenging but once the device is recognized making sure you follow all the detailed steps of the instructions you are ready to go. Be aware that the first time you connect might take a bit of time to synch, once you have synched a couple of times it is just seamsless. The only thing I dont like is the look, but that is not a deal breaker, it is just a cosmetic issue but other than that this device is awesome.

I've tried several of the CarPlay/Android Auto wireless adapters in my 2019 Honda HR-V, and this one has been easily the best so far. The instructions were completely clear, I just had to follow the steps, it even has a troubleshooting section! Written instructions that are clear AND a little help right there is almost unheard of, good job eMjollRay! It even comes with two sticky pads so you can mount it up if you want. It does feel like it takes a second or two longer to connect than my last adapter, but it's MUCH faster on the display and updates. Google voice command is quick and flawless, all my steering wheel controls still work, it's just like using a wired connection. I do like that it comes with a captured adapter for converting from USB-A or USB-C, and it even splits off the power if you need to plug in your phone, another great addition. Audio quality was fantastic, no stuttering at all. My only ding, and it's really super minor, is that the little galaxy display isn't something I think I want turned on, and they do put a button on the side to turn it off. However you have to turn it off every time, it doesn't remember the setting. That's not a problem at all for me, because I'll just mount it with the light facing the inside, so I'll never even see it, or have to worry about it, just hop in the car and drive. I think it's an awesome value so I don't have to monkey with that stuff. I can't tell you how many times I've forgotten my phone in the car because I had to have it plugged in, but now I can just keep it in my pocket.
